CWICR-Based Cost Estimator

A line item list coded with CWICR numbers is only half the estimate — someone still has to match every code to its rate, multiply it out, roll it up by division, and catch the item where the rate is missing or the quantity was never filled in before it quietly becomes a zero in the bid total.

The skill takes the CWICR-coded line items plus a rate table, computes the cost per item, rolls the totals up by division, and flags anything inconsistent: no matching rate, a zero or blank quantity, or a unit mismatch between the quantity and the rate table. It reports a trusted total and an at-risk value separately, so a flagged item never quietly inflates or deflates the number that goes into the bid.

It doesn't classify raw scope into CWICR codes, doesn't validate that the rate table is current for the project's region or bid date, and doesn't do value engineering — and the skill says so directly: it only prices what's already coded and flags what looks wrong, nothing more.

How to put it to work on a real project

Fill in the resource with real data from your project, validate the result with your own technical judgment, and keep it as an internal reference to repeat the process next time.
