The final walkthrough before handing over a project usually gets done from memory or in a notebook, and small items — a baseboard, an uneven joint — get forgotten until the client flags them.

This template structures that walkthrough: area, deficiency, trade responsible, priority, and 3 statuses (Pending → Fixed → Verified, only marked once you've personally checked it), with a summary that counts only how many high-priority items are still open — the number that actually decides whether handover can happen.

What it doesn't solve — we say so in the template itself — is alerting you when a pending item has been open too long, or notifying the trade responsible: that's on you.

Bloqbase keeps the punch list for the project in one place, with photos attached per item and an automatic alert when something pending has been open too long. Get in touch if you want to see it with your real site.

How to put it to work on a real project

The idea isn't to download another file and forget it in a folder. Use it with a specific case: a pending certificate, a coordination meeting, a cost overrun or a handover to the developer. Fill in the resource with real data from your project, validate the result with your own technical judgment, and keep it as an internal reference to repeat the process next time.
